TCP/IP Information

When using a Static IP, you need to provide the DVR with the IP address, subnet mask, Gateway, and DNS

number. ese must be obtained from your network administrator or your internet service provider. If you

are using DHCP or xDSL connection, this information will be obtained automatically by the system. e im-

age below shows the TCP/IP information.

e system has the ability to send e-mail notication upon a sensor, or video loss event. is menu is the

setup window for setting up the sender and receiver E-Mail account information. e image below shows

the Network (E-Mail Notication) menu.

To set up the e-mail notication, enter your SMTP Server name in the SMTP box. Enter the receiver e-mail

address that you want to receive the e-mail notication in the receiver box. Enter the sender’s email address

in the sender box. Click the Authentication button and enter the necessary information for authorization of

the senders e-mail server.

Please note: You must be set up and communicating on a network for the e-mail notication to work.
