Group / Aux / Matrix Master Modules
This set of 8 modules includes master controls for Group, Auxiliary, and
Matrix outputs. Each module is fitted with reconfiguration switches which
optimize the location of each output. For example, when operating in
Front of House mode, the fader output will normally control the analog
su/jointfilesconvert/366501/bgroup output. When used in Monitor mode, the fader output section
controls the console’s monitor (Aux) outputs. The section previously
controlling the Aux Outputs will now control the Group outputs.
Mono Matrix Section
In FOH applications, this section provides up to eight mono Matrix mixes (Sub-Sub mixes). In
monitor applications, it can be used to create “semi-discrete” (e.g. horn or backing vocal section)
mixes by patching an input module’s direct output to the external input of the selected matrix.
Outputs are XLR balanced, each having its own separate insert send and return connectors.
Mono Matrix Signal Source
The Matrix has level controls sourcing signals from the left,
right, and mono outputs, the eight groups, and dedicated
external inputs. The signal may be sourced pre- or post- fader
as determined by front panel switches within the individual
source sections.
Upper Output Control Block
(Default Matrix Control)
This section contains the output level control and all
associated functions, including Mute Switch, µ-Mute Preset
Switch, µ-Mute Active LED, Polarity Reverse Switch, Insert
On Switch, Peak and Signal Present LEDs, Solo Switch,
and Talkback Preset Switch. The MTX Master and GRP
Master LEDs indicate whether all controls in this section
are assigned to the Matrix outputs or to the Group assign-
ment section.
Middle Output Control Block
(Default Aux Control)
This section is functionally identical to the Upper Output
Control Section. The AUX Master and GRP Master LEDs
indicate current assignment of this control section.
