VCA Master Fader Bay

VCA Master Fader Bay

This section includes controls for the

VCA Group and VCA Mute functions.

Illuminated Mute Switch – Mutes all input

channels assigned to a VCA Group -

unless channel’s safe button is depressed.

Internal jumpers allow selection for

switch to activate channel mute (default)

or to pull down channel level without

activating channel mute.

Unity LED – Illuminates when voltage

on a VCA bus is 0. Adding or removing

a channel from a VCA group when LED

is illuminated does not alter level to that

channel.

Solo Switch – Solos ALL input channels

assigned to the VCA group, including

operation in input “solo in place” mode.

Left/Right/Mono

Master Fader Bay

This section includes faders for the

three Main Outputs (Left/Right/Center

[Mono]) as well as important associated

controls. The Output Mute Lockout

Switch (recessed) disables mute switches

on main outputs to prevent inadvertent

activation during performance. Two

switches route the Main outputs to the

Matrix, either pre- or post-fader. And a

pair of recessed switches route summed

L/R and Mono buses to a separate Sum

Output connector with insert points.
